In this video Silverson demonstrates how using a high shear mixer is a simple and effective way of preparing an agglomerate-free pectin solution in a matter of minutes. The Silverson Ultramix is ideal for dispersing pectin - the unique single-piece mixing head rapidly incorporates and hydrates the powder in a fraction of the time taken by conventional agitators. There is no need to premix the powders and the pectin does not have to be sifted onto the surface to prevent agglomerates.
