I made a Hello Kitty custom mashup for my sister for Christmas. I used a Kidrobot Hello Kitty vinyl toy and did a toy mashup and a cool little diorama. The Hello Kitty head was hard to find but I did finally find one at Barnes & Noble. I also used a little Magic Sculpt two part epoxy and sculpted a little poodle using a Final Faction toy.
