My first attempt to build a variable weight mechanical keyboard!
The outcome is quite satisfying, except the cheap stabilizers are producing quite a lot noise. However, they can be replaced in the future easily since it is a pcb-mount switches build.
Switches used:
- Gateron Blacks for index & middle fingers' keys, backspace and enter.
- Gateron Reds for ring & pinky fingers' keys.
- Gatern Blacks (with MX Clears' spring) for spacebar.
Switch mounting: PCB mount
keycap: DSA PBT laser etched
Stabilizers: PCB-mounted Cherry stabilizers

Switches: SP-Star Grey 67g (Jun2020 version)
Lube: Krytox GPL205g0
Stabilizers: Geniune Plate-mount cherry stabilizers, lubed, clipped and band-aid modded.
Mounting Plate: Brass
Dampening sheet: 3.5mm non-woven fabric sheet between plate and pcb
Dampening sheet under PCB: 2mm Neoprene foam
Case: TOFU, 2mm o-ring added at standoffs
