Wonderful shortbread cookie recipe with added custard powder gives these cookies a beautiful flavour. Great to make with the kids - let me know what you think!
Recipe:
1 cup butter softened
1/2 cup icing sugar
1 & 1/2 cups plain flour
1/2 cup custard powder
Combine all ingredients until it forms a stiff dough. Break into gold ball size pieces, place on lined baking tray and gently press on top with a fork. Place in preheated oven at 180c/350f for 20 minutes. Leave to cool on tray and serve.
