I have see n many model railroads where sections of backdrop were merely joined at a 90 degree angle to fit an inside or outside corner. Unfortunately this creates a discontinuity tht\at ruins the illusion we are trying to create on our model railroads. A nice sweeping curve on the other hand blends in much better and helps create the illusion of depth and isolates the of the scene from the distractions of the bare walls or furnishings in the room. In this video I'll share with you a secret method for bending tempered hardboard, often called Masonite, to easily go around both inside and outside corners, to give you those highly desirable sweeping curves.
