Convicted felon and election denier, Tina Peters, will not be coming to Shasta County to serve as the assistant clerk and registrar of voters. County Clerk and Registrar Clint Curtis said Peters has too much going on at the national level and he needs someone in that role with feet on the ground in Redding full time, and it could have been too much of a distraction.
