To be honest, I feel that weapon animation as a category still ultimately belongs to the realm of fine manual craftsmanship; AI still cannot truly mass-produce products that require such delicate handiwork.
However, the temporal consistency achieved by this new model—in cases not involving complex precision movements—looking as if it came straight out of 3D modeling software, still left me deeply shocked, so I immediately shelled out for a membership to run some video tests.
Except for the "bonus content" at the end, everything was generated in one go from short text descriptions, without providing any image references or detailed motion designs.
The bonus content at the end was created by providing character screenshots, generating three videos, and then stitching them together, with some redundant footage trimmed during post-editing.
The original videos were 720p, and were exported at 1080p after being combined.
