Track 2 of 4 - Curse Containment:

This is another track I am relieved is finally seeing the light of day and isn’t gathering dust on my hard drive anymore. This one was started all the way back in July 2020. The initial mix on it was so terrible I did not have the will to go through and get it right for the longest time. I did eventually return to the project in September of 2024. I think I finally achieved a good balance after a lot of overhauls of the synths, drums, and the overall mix and master. It’s not an overly complex track but there are a lot of elements competing with each other which made it challenging to finish. I picture a struggle to contain some kind of evil magic artifact or a clash between arcane forces when I think of this track (I guess the real struggle was the mix and actually finishing this). The magic / fantasy ideas are inspired a lot by artists like Svdden Death, blending arcane and electronic ideas together.
