The first selection of commercials of the new Currys Campaign launched in 2001. The ads introduced the Lowe Family and were directed by Derek Coutts who had directed the OXO ads. The Mum was played by Helen Pearson who had been in Emmerdale and went on to be Frankie Osbourn in Hollyoaks, The Dad was played by Angus Kennedy. The original House was in Epsom near the racecourse for the first three adverts, after that interiors were built in the studio.
