In this video I showcase my 5-year old currant bushes, and a 7-year old gooseberry bush. I show what a fully-grown plant looks like, how the berries look when they are ready for harvesting, how to harvest and process the berries, and I suggest some uses for the fruit.

Currants are highly undervalued in America. I would be glad to see a resurgence of them in baking culture particularly.
