I put together a free mini course to help folks take their first steps into the world of modular.
You don't need any special gear to do this, just a computer with VCV Rack (which is free to download).
This mini-course walks you through the foundations of modular synthesis, signal flow, & how to build your 1st patch (or two) from scratch, so that you can start making music with modular synths with confidence.
You'll learn the fundamental building blocks and steps involved in creating sound—from expansive drones to sci-fi lasers, to anything else you can imagine. 🤓🚀
On a personal note, I made this class because I know how intimidating it can be to get into something new—especially something as technical as synthesis/electronic music. For years when I was getting started with modular synths, I was too nervous to ask for help, overwhelmed by all the technical info, and fearful that my questions would sound too stupid... so I held myself back (for a long time) from diving into an area of music-making that I was SO passionate and curious about.
