Sueys Book Banter | Curiosity and Compassion: The Answer to Book Banning @sueysbookbanter | Uploaded October 2024 | Updated October 2024, 20 hours ago.
Last week, our library kicked off the city-wide book club with a passionate presentation by beloved local author, Shannon Hale. She addressed all kinds of issues regarding book banning and challenged books, and how we can be "curious and compassionate" toward people who believe differently than we do. I captured just a few moments to share in this video.
Also, I'll be reading Fahrenheit 451 with the city! With all kinds of activities and programs at the library all month long.
