My speedrun attempts on Cuphead base game for all the bosses with all A+ Ranks.
On Regular difficulty with no damage, using only the Charge Shot with no Charm.
Eventually, I'll do the same with the DLC / The Delicious Last Course when it's out.

The reason why I attempted this was to do it as a challenge for myself. My favorite weapon of choice is the Charge Shot when I unlocked it back when I played it on Xbox One, people say it was like an weapon that made the game easier because of the damage it does. But it constantly requires you charging and precise aim on the boss to make use of it, so using it as a solo weapon can be a different type of experience. Because of this, I try to do speedrun attempts with just this weapon, but to make it more challenging, it also has to be the highest rank which also means I can't get hit at all. When I beat the game back on Xbox my go to charm was smoke bomb, but there are other charms that can assist you on getting a high rank or just helps make the game easier, so I decided to do none. EX attack is already annoying with Charge Shot, so Super Art I (Energy Beam) is equipped for the super meter requirement.

There was a lot of retries during these bosses, and it was a frustrating experience when doing this depending on the boss. I also didn't expect glitches, which makes it annoying as that makes it faster when speedrunning it than doing it normally. I didn't need to speedrun this as the official leaderboards is anything goes, but by forcing myself to defeat the boss as fast as possible instead of taking my time to shoot them, that adds another layer to the challenge. You'll notice most of the times how I'll throw out the Charge Shot as soon as possible as I ended up timing it really well when trying to speedrun it. Other times it's charged long enough to dodge the bosses attacks before I shoot them.

Playing as Mugman is preference as I originally beat the game as Cuphead on Xbox One in the first week of release, and back then Mugman wasn't playable until the April 18, 2018 update (Switch release).

Although this was played on the PlayStation 4, there was a major glitch on the Xbox One version on launch with The Devil boss, where you are still able to shoot him even after he went through the hole. At the time, that would be way faster than playing it normally, as well as making it anticlimactic as he ends up being the last boss you face. I tried to use the glitches for a faster speedrun time. Trial and error for Sally Stageplay. For King Dice it didn't matter to me if I didn't get the glitch or not, as I got hit by him at the end from the tries I did, so the glitch worked out well in the end.
