On November 20th, 2025, we celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Urban Education PhD Program at the CUNY Graduate Center! Watch this panel moderated by Ofelia Garcia with Sonia Nieto, Pedro Pedraza, Carmen Mercado, and Madeline Perez DeJesus as they reflect on their contributions, collaborations, leadership and scholarship, and discuss the role that CUNY and CENTRO had on the development of bilingual education.
