The Road Speed Governor is an electronic feature that limits the maximum speed the vehicle can travel at when using the accelerator pedal. The Road Speed Governor feature is available on all on-highway Cummins engines. The road speed droops, or variable road speed cruise settings, allow slight fluctuation in vehicle speeds around the target cruise speed. For more information, visit the feature description section of PowerSpec. To adjust your road speed governor, download PowerSpec, a free computer application, at cumminsengines.com/powerspec. Talk to your local Cummins representative to receive free licensing rights.
