This mod is Cummins N14 Straight pipe sound for SCS trucks and truck mods
Version 1.0 Feature:
-Cummins N14 310-525HP with straight piped sound
-3 stages jake brake
-Gearbox whine sound
-Realistic turbo behavior
-Realistic fan behvaior
-Max Volume regulation for reduced chance of audio clipping and sound cutting
(Highly recommended to put engine, exhaust, turbo volume slider to max)
-Sound attenuation effects for realistic sound fade off from the distance
-Sound distortions and directional effects for realistic distortions from different positions around the truck
-Included Customizable Additional Supported Trucks (CAST) in the mod
Quick tutorial on how to use CAST
1. Goto def/vehicle/truck/
2. Rename one of zcustom_xx into truck def name you want
and you should good to go

Wall of texts warning.
TL;DR This is NOT my mod, it is paid, and its not releasing anytime soon.
So after the gen 2 was released I planned to fix everythings wrong with SJ concept and lepidas, especially the compatibility issue with Eugene scania. and how people dont really like the new tone of NG scania in SJ concept.
Around the same time, Rudi Keersemaker reached out to me said that he recorded open pipe exhaust sound from Volmers Scania R770 V8 and wanted me to sample and make my own version of it on Fmod. Ive also made the stock V8 for him for the past, and with the new resources, of course I said yes.
During the sampling part Ive come to a realization that with this amount of recording, I literally could sample exhaust tone into 4 different throttle level. No throtttle, half throttle, full throttle, full throttle-full boost. So I did. So with this new system the exhaust tone would be EXTREMELY dynamic with the throttle response and boost. Like, if you were to rev in neutral youll get that deep tone like usual. But if you have a load or builds up the boost the tone would be more airly and even crackles a little bit. Other than that I also separately sample exhaust brake shifting which works much better.
So all of these will be released by Rudi Keersemaker. It will be paid. But if you already have current version of this mod then you get this update for free once it comes out. To be clear, I DO NOT receive any financial benefits from this work. This is purely made by my own enthusiasm.
Of course these new experimental stuff will be added to my future mods, especiall the update for SJ concept.
