Cultic is an old school first person shooter from developer Jasozz Games and publisher 3D Realms. It takes heavy inspiration from Blood and possibly Resident Evil 4, but is certainly unique in its own right. The weapons are impactful and satisfying, the gore is bloody and chunky, the atmosphere is thick and foreboding, and the soundtrack compliments the entire package beautifully.
