Cubase 15 just introduced OmniVocal , a new vocal synthesis instrument designed by Yamaha.
But how does it compare to one of the best AI vocal tools out there, Synthesizer V Studio 2?

In this video, I put them head-to-head to see if the simpler, included OmniVocal can actually keep up with a fully featured AI vocal plugin. I tried recreating the same vocal line I made in Synthesizer V Studio 2, this time, completely inside Cubase 15, and what happened honestly surprised me.
