This tractor was built from a 1711, and 682. The 682's Kohler Kt-17 died from a bad governor, and I replaced it with a very low hour Kohler Command 18 V-twin. The Command engine has a much smoother idle, and more power. I had a to make a new wire harness, and drive shaft. The motor mounts to the stock engine plate, but has to be moved forward by about 1" to clear the gas tank. I'm very pleased with the engine swap, if anyone has any questions please ask, and I'll be happy to help.
