"Marisa, Gensokyo is dying. Reimu's gone; there's nothing left for you back there! Please," The puppeteer begs, tears pooling in her lifeless eyes, "come with me; stay with me in Makai, it'll be better for you - for the both of us there. We can be together..." She blinks, and the tears roll down her cheeks, but she ignores them. Her cloudy eyes are firmly fixated on the magician, searching her expression for any kind of love or acceptance.
She finds nothing.
"I'm sorry Alice. I just can't, y'know. I can't just leave Reimu behind." Her tone asks for forgiveness, but she receives only harsh words and icy glares.
"I knew this would happen; I knew you'd choose Reimu over me!" The young youkai screams in fury. "You always do, every time!!" She stamps her foot in rage and flings her hands wildly as silver strings glint briefly in the light and her dolls assemble around her, glares as lifeless as their master's.
"The door is closing, Marisa. I won't let you leave me alone in the darkness again!"
