CSX engineering crews recently completed a 10-week mega block on our Fitzgerald Subdivision ahead of schedule, safely delivering major infrastructure improvements along a key north-south route. Working overnight to minimize disruption, employees installed 95,000 ties, replaced 1,500 switch ties, upgraded curves, and completed track surfacing to strengthen reliability across the corridor.
