Wanda Roche is a Fort Collins resident who struggled with going up and down hills and bumpy areas in her wheelchair designed for exercise. Four CSU engineering students from the Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering worked closely with Wanda to understand her needs for a wheelchair that was safe and easily able to turn and break. After spending the year redesigning the chair, they finished the final design that now allows Wanda the accessibility to exercise with ease.
