The Good: Excellent synergy. A clean, detailed, and controlled Sound.
The Bad: Not the last word in midrange heft.
The Verdict: An exceptional match for the price. Recommended!
Willsenton R8 ($1,450 USD)
The Good: A powerful, detailed, layered sound.
The Bad: A bit forward and dry in the treble / upper midrange.
The Verdict: A decent match, but the Audiolab is a better fit for less $$.
Willsenton r300i ($1500 USD)
The Good: A warm, saturated midrange.
The Bad: Everything else.
The Verdict: No and no. Avoid.
Hegel H120 ($3,000 USD)
The Good: Neutral midrange with good bass control for the money.
The Bad: Treble sounds a bit rough with this combo.
