In the beginning I thought it was crazy to remove the ribber while working heels/toes. I have seen the light!
Removing the ribber arm and dial before working heels and toes on the CSM allows you to fix any dropped stitches and to better keep an eye on your CSM project. Here I show you my extra step beyond “parking” the ribber needles upside down in their corresponding cylinder slots. Taking this slight extra step allows one to be more speedy working the heel/toe with less needle snag and collision. Video is silent.
EDIT: I later determined that instead of turning ribber butts inward upside down it was easier and faster to simply lay the ribber needs on the inside of the cylinder. :)
