A unique Hungarian educational/adventure game where you have to collect mushrooms in the forest. You can inspect the mushroom, and if you decide to put it into your basket, the name of the specie is revealed, and also wether it is eatable or poisonous. You can then sell your findings on a market for money, and the goal of the game is to earn a certain sum. Picking up a deadly mushroom ends the game because its spore will infect the basket. You might encounter robbers in the forest and you can select how to deal with them. In this case I didn't have luck with them... TWICE!

Its much like the un-special version from 1989, except with new levels and other little tweaks. Either way, it is CRUEL! Everything is cruel to you, including the controls and the hit detection!")

No sound to be found here... because in space, no one can hear you drill, amirite?
Driller is the first game of the bunch that is made with Freescape, a full blown 3D proto-FPS engine for 8- and 16-bit microcomputers.
So whats happening here? In theory, you are supposed to find the places where gas accumulates and drill into them before the planet explodes from the pressure. In practice, an entire building teleports there when you place the driller. I have no idea.
Oh, you also have to manage your energy, destroy hostile sentry lazer guns, and solve puzzles that make new areas accessible.

Poor mans Marble Madness with no physics but with terrible controls to compensate the difficulty.

A pretty tipical Boulder Dash clone (aside from the TNT bars and jackhammers) with VGA graphics and hosentrogers. I manually switched between beeper, Adlib sound, and music mode during the video. Loved it as a kid, but I lost it, and there was no trace of it on the Internet anywhere. Someone on Mobygames.com forum has managed to unearth it from an obscure shareware compilation site. Thanks, whoever you are! Altough this is just a 20 level shareware demo, the full version is probably yet to be archived if it still exists somewhere.
