Ring Fit Adventure Review - My new favourite way to exercise
updated
I think that the most important clip is the first one, in which I show you can get a mid-screen wallbreak with the last hit of Giganter Kai, while Potemkin is still standing fairly close to the middle. This counts as an overdrive wallbreak and therefore gives you big advantage on the other side of the wall. From the moment Giganter Kai comes out, it's unburstable. It's probably the best thing you can do here, if the range is right (unless they're at very low health and you can just finish them off).

My magcum opus.
Special thanks to my girlfriend who helped me to pitch shift all the cum and ass.
More special thanks to people who provided me with cum: Woolyshambler, Hexler, IroncladLou, Mooglepies, Delicious, RSN_Bran, M. Richard Tally, Catsman, SoupySauce and ShinyMissingno.
Scene from Gamer (2009 film).
Some credit to my sister, again.
This is closer to my sister's original concept but I feel that the tempo of the beatbox in Pop works better than the one from Rock Your Body.
Execution by me. This one took a lot of effort but I think it was worth it.
What do Korn and Justin Timberlake have in common? Neither of them can beatbox.
I added a photosensitivity warning to the title because there's some flashing images in the first 10 or so seconds. Skip to 00:08 to avoid it.

On further testing, it seems likely that this is possible in any version of Warlock Mountain, except maybe the very first instance (at the start of the game).

Personally, I've been finding it very fun to play through the game, treated it as a kind of puzzle. I've found loads of tricks that allow for progression and access to areas, previously thought to only be accessible with no-clip and moon-jump codes.
Skip to 35 minutes in if you just want to see the juicy stuff. Up until that point, it's a fairly standard playthrough.

There's a lot of footage from Fox there as well, but he's much harder to create a narrative sequence with. I might try to make a video for him at some point, though.

Since you're going so fast, you can use this to clip through some large distance walls (like with backwards long jumps in Mario 64) and potentially access previously inaccessible areas, without the need for any cheat codes.

Thanks to my woman Woolyshambler for this one.
I couldn't see the full soundtrack uploaded to Youtube so I thought I would upload them.
I haven't included some of the shorter songs, such as stage clear, which are about 5 seconds long.

This game is now, and will always remain, free.
Here's where you can get test builds for all the released levels (they will all be in the Steam build, eventually): robwelch.itch.io/lawyer-guy-defender-of-justice
World record for video captured runs as of 21/11/2020. I had to show Moogle who was the best. Very shortly afterwards, he showed me that I was no longer the best. I could probably beat him, but he'd beat me again just to spite me further. He has defeated me.
My friend Rob is making this game and I'm one of the "Senior Cool Playtesters". I wanted to upload this because people are saying that the game is too hard. I say to those people: "Have you ever played a 2d sidescrolling platformer before?"
I think that the game presents a good level of challenge. I've played the test builds which WERE too hard and I told Rob to tone it down.

World record for video captured runs as of 20/11/2020. I'm likely not going to attempt to get better but you could probably get it done 5-10s faster if played flawlessly.

How to install:
Download the patch here: http://lunchtime.org.uk/downloads/Super_Mario_64_The_Lost_Localisation.zip
You will need Lunar IPS patcher to apply these patches: http://www.romhacking.net/utilities/240
Patches need to be applied to an unaltered US ROM of Mario 64.
There are four versions of the patch. Apply either LPV or MV to either a .z64 or .n64 original, unpatched ROM. Apply the correct IPS file to the correct ROM type (.z64 or .n64).
Do not apply both patches to the same ROM. That will not work.
I will not tell you why there are two different versions as that would spoil the surprise. Both of them play in almost entirely the same way though and save files for either one can be used with the other by renaming the save file to match the version you are playing.
This version of the game requires expanded memory to run. You can set this in an emulator. On a real console, you will need the N64 expansion pack in order to load the game.
Special thanks to the Gentlemen's Lunchtime Association, who helped me with this project.
Special thanks to the Mario 64 decompilation team who made this possible and their community who gave me tech support.

I got the game to as close as 100% completion as I could on one run through the game. I haven't obtained all of the titles, because you have to do each exercise hundreds or thousands of times in order to get some of them. I didn't use many of the healing skills, so I missed out on those titles. I did complete the entire compendium (bought every outfit, acquired every smoothie, etc.) and complete every level and sidequest in the game.
I am now very fit.
I like that all 3 versions of the credits are different. They make different sounds if you push/pull the ring-con.
A follow-up to my initial video review (which can be found here: youtu.be/CRpsVjj1A1U), considering the things I've learnt about the game since finishing Extra Fitness mode and starting Master Fitness mode and also taking into account the recent major update to the game.
Full written reviews can be found here: http://lunchtime.org.uk/blog/specs-ring-fit-adventure-review
There's an inaccurate bit of information in this video at about 4:30. There are more than enough ab skills to fit the attack skills bar, but yoga and legs seem to have the same amount as each other and both just fill the bar. Not entirely sure why I thought differently.
With regards to the Ring-Con degrading significantly, it keeps getting worse. It's now only sensing at 75% squeeze capacity and it looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/pRyErBd.jpg
Nintendo have refused to repair it or send a replacement.

Completed on difficulty level 30.
I was interested to see that the credits are different to the first set you see. There were extra voice clips of Ring and the pull and push on the ring-con made drum rolls and cymbal crashes rather than changing the music like the first time round.
Background on this is that my close personal friend, world-famous anime reviewer, Animitch, brought this puppet to our mutual friend, Catsman's, house. Despite it looking nothing like me, he insisted that it was an exact likeness and repeatedly ridiculed me with it. I learned to love Little Sceds and therefore adopted him.
The game is Shenmue 2 and the voice is all Delin. Delin is great.
He actually responded to me when I asked him about it on twitter: https://i.imgur.com/aR7jHsN.png
