Met up with Gecko again to finish off the remaining 2 player levels we hadn't yet completed, discounting the ones that are intended to be played solo. This was the last classic extreme demon left, and overall it was super fun. My only complaint is a bug at 52% in which sometimes the fourth black orb would place upon my wave release instead of my click, resulting in the level being completely impossible. That aside, this level is quite fun despite its difficulty. Now that I have completed every extreme intended for two people, I think I can comfortably say the top 3 hardest was as follows:
1. me when machine gang
2. We Are Not The Same (as player 2)
3. Crystal Crusher
I am aware that Crystal Crusher is typically considered the hardest one, but WANTS was extremely mentally taxing on me, and MWMG was extremely rough in the balancing department. CrCr was very well balanced and if it weren't for the bug it would have gone by even quicker, and to me it just doesn't really compare to the other two. Take these opinions with a grain of salt however, as all 2 player levels (with the exception of WANTS) are going to be very differing opinions depending on the skill level of the player you are playing with. To add to that, WANTS is very hard to compare as it doesn't even feel like a 2 player level as I was doing all of the difficulty, with the aspect of another player adding to the mental pressure.
Overall, now that I have completed all classic 2 player extremes that are created with the intent of being played by two people, I would highly recommend each and every one of them with the exception of We Are Not The Same. I can't say that any one of them was flawless in the gameplay department as they all had their downsides, but they were all very unique experiences that if you get the chance to play with a friend, you absolutely should.
As an additional note, Gecko and I also completed the formerly rated 2 player extreme demon WOBBLING MACHINE by Smarted following an unexplainably lucky completion. We only completed this on his account as I was really bad at the predrop and didn't feel like beating it again on my account due to it being unrated.
