Crysis 2 is a first-person shooter developed by Crytek and released last year for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3;
Here we take control of a new character, Alcatraz a Force Recon Marine, who's given the High-Tech NanoSuit by Prophet, a Army Delta Force Officer who makes a return from the first game, but now, CryNet Systems has been in pursuit for Prophet to retrieve the NanoSuit, Alcatraz, now using the High-Tech Suit has to avoid being captured; Unlike the first game's forest environment, Crysis 2 takes place in a city, New York, offering a quite different atmosphere as well as some changes in gameplay due to the new scenario such as more linearity but new options and possibilities as well,
Unlike the first game, Crysis 2 makes use of the newer CryEngine 3, designed and optimized for both the Consoles and PCs; Unlike it's predecessor more "natural" look, Crysis 2 seems to make use of exaggerated lens flares as well as more "Movie Like" filters and lighting, still, Crysis 2 can be considered quite a graphical beast by taking advantage of DX11 features, such as tessellation, destructible environments, dynamic water, high-definition textures and advanced particles as well impressive sunshaft effects;
Crysis 2 is easily one of the best looking and most demanding games available on the PC as for today,
