A taxidermist has turned preserving dead pet crabs, lobsters and shrimp into a thriving business, with customers sending shellfish from around the world.

Jason Philip, from Edinburgh, Scotland charges up to $400 to preserve beloved crustaceans and says demand has soared since he began sharing his work online.

The self-taught artist says helping owners memorialize their unusual pets has become one of the most rewarding parts of the job.
