"Fall In Love" is a song about when a crush doesn't like you back, a song about unequitted love or rejection in love.
I wrote it after I got rejected by my crush. Then we started dating. Then we went from "loving" to friends at best. It was a 360, a whirlwind that I don't understand. Losing someone you don't know completely can hurt just as much as someone you've been in a long term relationship with, cause you're in love with the idea of that person. You only see their good sides. You put them on a pedestal and so when it ends, you only blame yourself.
If you're in that situation. Look at the other person with empathy, and do the same for yourself. Don't stay in something that hurts you. Don't make excuses for someone's behavior. Don't look at the situation through your emotions, but look at it objectively. It's not him or her, it's not you. It's the match that wasn't there.
