This is the 2007 Mix version of Live and Learn by Crush 40. Technique was to eliminate some stems (particularly the bass and guitar since the drum has a different sound) using their (inverted track) original instrumental and prototype versions of the song for a better chance to spare the instruments from getting affected from the separation of the vocals from UVR.
The models used in audio stem separation are Roformer models which I used from UVR Beta app. This took a lot amount of time to clean up the separations per audio stem. This is NOT official from Crush 40 themselves, but this is closer to sounding like official!
Tools used:
UVR Beta (app) - splitting of acapella and instrumental
SpectraLayers Pro 5 - manual cleanup of audio stems
Audacity (2.0.6 old version) - adjust speed of original instrumental and prototype tracks to perfectly align to the main track and fix audio desyncing issues
Audacity (latest version) - raw mix editing and final export
Wallpaper used was the screenshot of Super Sonic and Super Shadow from Sonic The Hedgehog 3 Movie!
