Crunchyroll announced their nominations for this year's 2022 Anime Award show and all anime within the fall season were completely excluded. While the reason remains ambiguous, it is a HUGE shame as this significantly affects the amount of diversity in our choices as fans of this medium. Fantastic A+ tier shows such as Mob Psycho 100, Suletta The Witch From Mercury, Chainsawman and Bocchi the Rock have been completely excluded from the list, which is incredibly unfortunate. With that little rant out of the way, here are my thoughts on the nominations and my personal picks for the upcoming 2022 anime awards.
