Join me in west central Indiana as I spend another day with Crossroad Farms during their 2026 winter wheat harvest.
This is now my fifth consecutive year filming this operation, and many of you have followed these harvests from the very beginning. The previous Crossroad Farms wheat harvest videos have become some of the most watched on my channel, and each season tells a different story.
Unlike previous years, frequent rains created muddy field conditions that made this harvest especially challenging. In some areas the combines left noticeable ruts, while portions of the wheat had lodged due to the wet weather. The damp conditions also delayed straw drying, so unlike previous visits, I wasn't able to film the farm working ground and planting double-crop soybeans. I explain more about those conditions during the VoiceOver.
Even with the weather challenges, there was no shortage of action. This video features wheat harvesting, unloading on the go, grain cart operation, straw raking, large square baling, and bale stacking, with a combination of drone and ground-level footage throughout.
