An accident in 2015 left Jesi Stacham paralyzed with a spinal cord injury. Following the tragic event, she gained weight, kept falling, and felt dehumanized by her injury.

But in 2017, Stracham found CrossFit, and in addition to gaining strength and a way to stay fit, she felt like herself again.

Stracham — an entrepreneur and speaker — is competing at the 2024 Adaptive CrossFit Games in the Seated 1 - Without Hip division.
