This is the newest addition to the Melee Only maps. My initial question about Swamp was if it's gonna be better than Sewers, because Sewers is a very popular map in many versions.

After initial play, I can definitely say it's better, in my opinion. It is such a peaceful map with great sound effects for the ambiance.

The water is toxic, making you lose healths at a faster rate than a normal damage zone; you lose 3 hp every few seconds; until you leave the polluted water, so you better not fall behind the docks, lol.

I first thought that both upper level on each houses were out of place. I mean, people simply rush in the center anyway; they don't care about dying as they will respawn shortly after.

But then you realize they don't want to die right away in Elimination, which can be understandable as they don't want to play the waiting game; so they camp on the balcony almost every round, lol.

So my verdict is: an amazing map, fun and addictive to the same level as Sewers. Hopefully it will make a change of all the Sewers room in CrossFire North America once we get that map!


Now, about the Baseball Bat: badass, nuff said! It's definitely a new personal favorite. Kinda overpowered though, but lots of fun to use!
