In todays vlog I share a mini stitching project designed by buttermilk basin that includes wool applique. Maybe it is because of the warm weather that has compelled me to work on my cross stitch projects, the A Year at Hawks Run Hollow is near to completion. The garden is now producing food for summer salads, we have an abundance of lettuce and radishes which has given me the impetus to start stitching seed packet inspired cross stitch patterns which I hope to fashion into small pillows to decorate my Welsh dresser. My Beatrix Potter inspired quilt has been languishing for some time now and so I decided to work on a block that features the tailor of Gloucester with that includes embroidery and tinting with wax crayons. knitting was taking a back seat however 2 new projects have been started that are manageable with the current hot climate.
