Our 8th grade art class created an enlarged painting from a 2" photograph they cropped from a magazine. The requirement of their cropped photograph was that it contain at least three of the elements of Art: i.e; line, color, shape etc.. They used grids to enlarge to photograph. The final painting was on a 12" square paper. Students were required to paint their painting using methods demonstrated in class (tinting, shading, complementary colors). Congratulations class
