Ten or twelve years ago, I became a member of a band here in the Isle of Man called "The Cronk Illiam Scratchers".
"Cronk" is the word for "Hill" in the Manx language.
"Illiam" is "William", which may be shortened to "Billy", so our name translated into English was: "The Hillbilly Scratchers".
This video was taken at a concert we performed at in Maughold involving me, and two other members of the band, Shiela playing harmonica and Beastie playing autoharp.
