In my crochet tutorial today I'll be showing you how to make this crochet Shih Tzu applique.

For this pattern you will need crochet cotton or wool, I used Scheepjes Catona crochet cotton colours (254) Moon Rock, (105) Bridal White, (162) Black Coffee and (110) Black. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. Scissors. Darning needle to weave in ends. Sewing thread and needle to stitch the shih tzu together.
The finished size will be 10cm x 15cm (4” x 6”) for the larger Shih Tzu, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the Shih Tzu in Catona will be 9cm x 12.5cm (3.5" x 4.75"). The medium Shih Tzu will be 7cm x 11.5cm (2.75” x 4.5”) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small Shih Tzu will be 5.5cm x 8cm (2” x 3”) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
