A Nursing necklace, known also as breastfeeding necklace, is a necklace worn by the mom to give the baby something to fiddle and twiddle with when breastfeeding.
The idea is to distract the baby from mother’s hair, clothing or small slaps and distress during the nursing time.
It is developed with different crochet techniques to promote fine motor and thinking skills development due to variety of textures. It can also be adapted and used as a garland for the crib or the stroller.
