This Crocheted Japanese Knot Bag / Bucket Purse is super easy to make and can be embellished in a variety of ways and colors to suit your personal taste.

The shell of this bag/purse is a Sigrun Hornberger design.

All the materials you need to make the basic purse (outer shell...embellish as you please) is approximately 275 yards of your favorite worsted weight yarn(s) and the appropriate sized hook.
