Hello wonderful humans that like to crochet.
Kids are going to love this XL crochet ship pillow. It makes for lovely decor in your child's bedroom or perhaps you have a beach house and want something unique. This super easy step by step tutorial will teach you how to crochet a ship/boat pillow.
Pick any colors, for boys, girls or make it gender neutral. It is up to your imagination.
This is part I of II videos. In this video I will show you how to crochet the two parts for the pillow and in the next video we will join the sides and make a cozy pillow out of it.
Here are the materials I have used:
4 Different types of yarn / different colors / different brands. (SEE BELOW)
I do not recommend using an extra fine yarn and an extra bulky one.
Try to keep similar weights. Mine are around the Medium 4 range.
Hook size 6mm / J (but can size up or down)
Scissors / Stitch markers /ruler are always on hand
2 yard of cotton yarn/ old sheet
Polyfil (depends how fluffy you want your pillow)
Yarn needle
Sewing machine to make your life easier but can be sewn by hand
Lots of patience as usual
