Crochet Chimex Sweater Pattern
Crochet Hook: G/6/4.25MM
Yarn: Lion Brand Yarns Re-Up 100% Recycled Cotton & Polyester Blend Yarn (Size 4, Medium Weight).

Attach yarn to crochet hook using a Magic Circle.
Row 1: CH 2 and place 13 DC inside MC.
Row 2: Working in the 1st DC st, place 2 DC and then mark the 1st of the 2 DC with a st marker. Place 2 DC in each st in the row (26 total DC st).
Row 3: **1 DC in st 1, 2 DC in st 2.** Repeat * around the row (39 total DC st).
Row 4: **1 DC in st 1 - 2, 2 DC in st 3.** Repeat * around the row (52 total DC st).
Row 5: **1 DC in st 1 - 3, 2 DC in st 4.** Repeat * around the row (65 total DC st).
Row 6: **1 DC in st 1 - 4, 2 DC in st 5.** Repeat * around the row (78 total DC st).
Row 7: CH 2 and turn your work so that you are working in the opposite direction. Skip the CH 2, and place 1 DC in each st in the row (78 total DC st).
Row 8: CH 5, turn your work and place 1 DC in the 1st 3 st of the row. Place 1 FRONT POST st in the 4th st. **Place 1 DC in the next 11 st, then 1 FRONT POST st around the 12th st.** Repeat ** around the row. The row should end with 3 DC (78 total st).
Row 9: CH 2, turn. Skip CH 2, then place1 DC in 1st 3 st. **Place 1 BACK POST st around the previous row’s FRONT POST st. DC 2together in the next 2 st, then place 1 DC in the next 9 st.** Repeat ** around the row. The row should end with 3 DC st (72 total st).
Row 10: CH 5, turn work. Skip CH 5, then place 1 DC in the 1st 3 st. **Place 1 FRONT POST st around the previous row’s BACK POST st, then DC 2together in the next 2 st. Place 1 DC in the following 8 st.** Repeat * around the row (66 total DC st).
Row 11: CH 2, turn. Skip CH 2, then place1 DC in 1st 3 st. **Place 1 BACK POST st around the previous row’s FRONT POST st. DC 2together in the next 2 st, then place 1 DC in the next 7 st.** Repeat ** around the row. The row should end with 3 DC st (60 total st).
Row 12: CH 5, turn work. Skip CH 5, then place 1 DC in the 1st 3 st. **Place 1 FRONT POST st around the previous row’s BACK POST st, then DC 2together in the next 2 st. Place 1 DC in the following 6 st.** Repeat * around the row (54 total DC st).
Row 13: CH 2, turn. Skip CH 2, then place1 DC in 1st 3 st. **Place 1 BACK POST st around the previous row’s FRONT POST st. DC 2together in the next 2 st, then place 1 DC in the next 5 st.** Repeat ** around the row. The row should end with 3 DC st (48 total st).
Row 14: CH 5, turn work. Skip CH 5, then place 1 DC in the 1st 3 st. **Place 1 FRONT POST st around the previous row’s BACK POST st, then DC 2together in the next 2 st. Place 1 DC in the following 4 st.** Repeat * around the row (42 total DC st).
Row 15: CH 2, turn. Skip CH 2, then place1 DC in 1st 3 st. **Place 1 BACK POST st around the previous row’s FRONT POST st. DC 2together in the next 2 st, then place 1 DC in the next 3 st.** Repeat ** around the row. The row should end with 3 DC st (36 total st).
Cut and tie off yarn.
Attach four buttons.
