The crochet block stitch is a beautiful stitch that is easy to do! Fun little pops of color are worked in between wider rows and you can get really creative with your color design choices. The block stitch is worked in basic stitches, just some chains, single and double crochets. The swatch I made in the video was worked in three colors, but you can try just two or lots more than I did, or even self striping and variegated too!
