Thomas Teo is Professor of Psychology in the Historical, Theoretical, and Critical Studies of Psychology Program at York University in Toronto, Canada. Throughout his career, he has championed theoretical, critical, and historical dimensions of psychological inquiry, as well as a critical-psychological perspective on social-political issues. His research focuses on meta-psychology, aiming to disclose the origins, development, and potential of human subjectivity. He has been Editor of the journal Review of General Psychology, the Palgrave Studies in the Theory and History of Psychology, and co-edits the Palgrave Studies in Indigenous Psychology.
