The first Crisis Pregnancy Center was opened in 1967 in response to the ever-growing rise of pro-choice feminism and the future of an abortion-friendly America. As time has gone on, Crisis Pregnancy Centers have become a backbone feature of the pro-life movement. Tricking people into attending by offering “medical advice”, they have become synonymous with spreading misinformation about abortion and working to dismantle it from the inside out.
