First and only album released by italian Darkwave band Crisantemo Del Carrione.
Self-produced limited edition.
Behind this first work by C.D.C. there is a cursed story, a legend that unites Venice and Carrara through bonds of marble, Love and Death. As per the Darkwave tradition, the sound register is made of dark and restless timbres, very inspired, but not subservient to the more classic Gothic Rock.
A pleasantly spontaneous work, in which the dense textures composed of guitar and drums, thanks to inspired phrasings of accordion and mandolin, push towards an impeccable folk vein. The deep and very dark voice of Alessandro Cucurnia is very pleasant, shame about the slowness in "telling" these beautiful pieces. Perhaps it was exaggerated to look for sounds typical only of the first Litfiba and Diaframma, with the pleasant atmospheres of pieces in French such as "Le Portraits Des Ombres" and "Le Noir Du Boulevard". A record to listen to in moments of pure tranquility, to let yourself go into that much-loved baroque atmosphere.
