"Crimson Tragedy" is a remake for the popular horror, creepypasta game called "Mario.EXE", made by CoolRash back in 2015. This is a re-take made by the user named NotSoDevy, who released it on Game Jolt, on September 19, 2024. The villain in this cool re-take is named Zazgar and he, like his basis, is a demonic version of Mario, murdering people left and right. Zazgar resembles Mario.exe, however, his browns are now made blue, giving him a similar color scheme to Jumpman. Also of note is that nearly all of his colors are quite dark, with the brightest one being the red in his eyes. Most of the events in this game play out similarly, however, the differences are as follows: Zazgar starts in his small form. He then enters the castle, which causes a Toad to exit. Zazgar then exits as well and decapitates Toad and eats his head, using it as a Super Mushroom. After evading Zazgar and traversing the underground area full of poison mushrooms, Luigi encounters Zazgar about to drop Peach off a cliff. He then tries to attack Luigi, which can either kill Luigi or miss him. Peach will actually survive the fall and travel the area she ends up in for a bit, only to get killed by Zazgar. Luigi finds himself in the castle. After evading fireballs and firebars, he finds Zazgar, who begins a boss fight. Defeating him will allow Luigi to walk past the bridge, only to find a dead Toad and get killed by Zazgar. Want more content like this?
