*Mini-Guide: Sturdy Gatherables Chest*
*How to Get the Sturdy Gatherables Chest*
- There are two main ways to buy this chest depending on how far you are in the game:
- Option 1: Timberham Sawmill (Early Game): Visit the furniture merchant named Vincent at the Timberham Sawmill. He sells the chest for 50 silver.
- Option 2: Howling Hill Camp (Discounted): Once you upgrade your Greymane Camp to Level 3, a vendor named Conrad will appear. He sells the same chest for 45 silver, giving you a 10% discount.
*Key Features & Capacity*
- Massive Storage: This chest provides 1,000 slots specifically for crafting materials.
- Items You Can Store: You can store ores, herbs, wood, hides, leather, cloth, plants, bugs, animal parts, and crystals.
- The Global Link Mechanic: Once you put an item in this chest, it is "globally linked." This means you can use those materials at any smithy (for gear), alchemy bench (for potions), or refinement station without having the items in your personal inventory.
*How to Install the Chest*
- Unlock Your House: You must reach Chapter 3 of the main quest to unlock the Howling Hill cabin.
- Placement: Enter your house at the back of the Greymane Camp. Open the options menu, select the furniture tab, and place your chest on the floor.
- Multiple Chests: If you collect a lot of materials, you are allowed to buy and place more than one Sturdy Gatherables Chest in your home.
*What it Cannot Store*
This specific chest is only for raw materials. It cannot hold food, weapons, or armor. For those items, use these instead:
- Kuku Cooler: For food.
- Wardrobe: For armor and outfits.
- Collectibles Chest: For quest items, maps, and keys.
