After 4 years, I finally got round to completing the Criminal Mastermind award!
4 experienced players, wearing a Heavy Utility Vest and driving an Armoured Karuma made this a piece of cake.
We only had 2 problems during the attempt. In the Pacific Standard Signal setup, the getaway boat somehow got destroyed and in the finale, Crowd Control somehow failed as soon as we left the apartment. Neither of these failures result in failing the Criminal Mastermind though, so we were ok.
The only 2 missions that don't allow you to use a Heavy Utility Vest are the Prison Break Final and the Series A Trash Truck Setup.
In the Prison Break Finale, we used an Armoured Karuma in the prison for protection. In the Series A Trash Truck setup we each left an Armoured Karuma at the last 3 pickup locations and used them to take out all the enemies.
